REWRITING THE CODE OF HIERARCHY

It’s a powerful thing when a man chooses to be coached by a woman - especially when he is older. I am always moved by how in such a session centuries of hierarchies -long downloaded into our bodies- are palpable in the room. Here they are an extraordinary opportunity.

A man choosing to be coached by a woman who is not a mother or lover -and not as a performance of allyship- is culturally rare. Every such fe/male encounter is not merely a meeting of individuals,

but a cultural system encounter.

When a man is coached by a woman, culture itself begins to re-pattern.

Patterns of power transform from hierarchy to presence.

Every such session is both personal and political, physiological and historical.

Every such encounter is thus systems change and cultural repair.

This is why I resist the 'niche' logic that, since the majority of my clients happen to be women anyway, I might as well offer my coaching exclusively to women.

Because this would close the door to one of the most profound opportunities we have for evolution -

to rewrite one of the oldest and most destructive codes ever embedded in our nervous systems:

the code of hierarchy itself.
